“Recently on Mothers Day weekend, my abusive ex-served me with custody papers. I was scared to death. I haven't seen him in 5 years. I thought my daughter and I were finally safe. The abuse we suffered by him was not just physical. His specialty was abuse you can't see, like verbal, mental, emotional and psychological.
